Progress on machining cylinders

Working towards a major milestone of having the cylinder-saddle mounted permanently on the frame, there are many detailed machining operations that still need to be completed.

This series of photos shows the cylinders mounted vertically for machining holes for the cylinder cocks, exhaust stand & other mountings.

This is also a good photo of the horizontal boring mill, spindle & operator's station.  The operator rides on the mill, near the spindle, as it moves.
