show an example of the work that will be done to all of the side rods.
The main rod (L1 shown here) attaches with a
knuckle pin to the cross head. The knuckle pin attaches to the side
rod with a taper fit. Here, a CNC mill is
re
establishing the taper for the knuckle pin. New knuckle pins will then be
machined to fit the new hole diameter on the correct taper.

This is the
other end of the L1 side rod. The bore is being machined for rod brass
where it attaches to the crankpin on the main driver.
